Research over the past few years has revealed a lot of reasons why going vegan is good for your body. The body converts these amino acids into sulphate, which acidifies the blood, and in the process of neutralising this acid, the bones dissolve in the bloodstream. Because meat and eggs contain two or even 5 times more amino acids than dishes made from plants, their effect on bone density is quite large. Instead of strengthening the bone, animal protein can cause fractures.
