Banana & Chia Vegan Smoothie

This is an amazing vegan smoothie, which only requires a blender to prepare. It will take 5 minutes and keep you feeling satisfied for hours!

Banana will be the dominant flavor if you use the recipe below. Adding almond or peanut butter will make the vegan smoothie very creamy and filling.

Ingredients for the vegan smoothie

  • 2 Bananas – Ideally frozen
  • Almond Butter – 1 Tablespoon
  • Chia Seeds – 2 Teaspoons
  • Dates – 2 without the pit
  • Kale Leaves or Spinach – Half a cup
  • Water – 250ml

Blend it on a low setting for 20 seconds followed by 40 seconds at a higher speed setting.

Pour & Enjoy!

Tip: adding some blueberries will turn it into a beautiful purple colour!
